The Creature

Creature progress photo

I'm building a papier-mâché creature. It has already become more involved than originally intended, so naturally, it deserves its own updates.

Progress photographs and construction notes will go here.

04 / Miscellany

Things I've learned, things I'm figuring out, and the occasional subject that has no business being filed under anything else.

About ElementWise

I'm interested in a great many things, which is both a blessing and a fairly effective way of never having a completely clear desk.

ElementWise is where I've decided to put some of them.

There will be poetry, certainly, but also other writing, photography, art, observations, things I've learned, things I'm still trying to understand, and the occasional opinion that may or may not have been solicited.

I'm also building a papier-mâché creature. It has already become more involved than originally intended, so naturally, it deserves its own updates.

My interests have taken me through Chinese medicine, technology, literature, photography, theatre, and a few other corners of life that don't fit particularly well into a single professional biography. I've lived in different places, done different things, and collected a reasonable assortment of stories and questions along the way.

Some of what appears here will be thoughtful. Some will be practical. Some might be funny, at least to me.

I don't intend to make everything fit a theme, offer a profound lesson, or end with an inspirational quote.

It's a website, not a spiritual awakening.

Welcome to ElementWise.
